Who Plucked Off The Moon?

Who Plucked Off The Moon?

A Feature film by Christine Carrière

Produced by Ciné Valse

Release in France : 22/12/1999

The story centers around a father and his two daughters, Marie and Suzanne. The tragic death of their mother at a young age leaves them bereft and struggling to maintain the family unit intact. Though the father has lost his beloved wife, he is determined to raise his daughters as best he can. But he is inconsolable and his daughters know it. Though they pretend not to notice, they are all too aware of every wrong move he makes. Meanwhile, they nurture him. Through all the emotional ups and downs, the genuine love in the family helps them to weather the storm. Unconditional love reigns in their wacky environment. In time, the daughters grow up.

The characters' social background, their craziness, is based on a reality I

know. And it just happens that these are the people I love and want to

speak about. However, my autobiography is yet to be written! It seems to me

that, to tell your life story without hiding things from yourself, you need

to have already lived a bit and be incredibly strong. I'm not ready yet!
