Synopsis
The story centers around a father and his two daughters, Marie and Suzanne. The tragic death of their mother at a young age leaves them bereft and struggling to maintain the family unit intact. Though the father has lost his beloved wife, he is determined to raise his daughters as best he can. But he is inconsolable and his daughters know it. Though they pretend not to notice, they are all too aware of every wrong move he makes. Meanwhile, they nurture him. Through all the emotional ups and downs, the genuine love in the family helps them to weather the storm. Unconditional love reigns in their wacky environment. In time, the daughters grow up.
