The 38th Toronto International Film Festival, to be held September 5-15, 2013, offers French cinema a large share of the spotlight.
2013 will be an excellent year for French films to gain exposure at the Toronto International Film Festival, with 33 French majority productions showcased, including two gala screenings: Blood Ties by Guillaume Canet and Bright Days Ahead by Marion Vernoux, as well as eleven films included in Special Presentations. As is the case each year, UniFrance Films will host a party in celebration of French cinema during the TIFF, to be held this year on the evening of September 7.
