Unifrance, with support from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, announces the seven winning works of the Tomorrow in Sight 2026-2027 label. Through this program, the Ministry and Unifrance aim to highlight the creativity of a young generation of artists whose stories capture the shifts of our time while also offering hope for a shared future to be reinvented.
A label dedicated to envisioning the world of tomorrow through images
Launched in 2025, Tomorrow in Sight aims to promote recent French works across all formats and genres (feature films, short films, fiction series or television works, documentaries, and animation) that embody the unique perspective of a young generation of artists on the social, societal, environmental, political, and artistic changes taking place in our world. This label aims to facilitate the international distribution of these works, enhance their visibility at festivals and markets, and support emerging filmmakers as they continue their careers, particularly through the support of the French cultural network abroad.
The jury that selected the winning works is composed of actively engaged individuals under the age of 40 from the arts and culture sectors.

A second edition marked by resistance and emancipation
The second edition of Tomorrow in Sight brings together works united by a common question: How can we continue to live and hope when the systems around us—political, economic, social, and environmental—are faltering? Through characters who confront the violence of society, this selection celebrates a young generation of authors who keenly reveal the divisions of our time and explore paths of resistance and emancipation.
