Unifrance warmly congratulates all the winners of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, which ended on Saturday, September 6.
French cinema, omnipresent in terms of international co-productions, won the major awards: the Golden Lion for Father Mother Sister Brother by Jim Jarmusch, co-produced by CG Cinéma and Saint Laurent Productions, the Silver Lion - Grand Jury Prize for The Voice of Hind Rajab by Kaouther Ben Hania, co-produced by Tanit Films (a film which received a total of seven awards), and Best Screenplay for At Work, written by Valérie Donzelli and Gilles Marchand, produced by Pitchipoï Productions.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg of a whole series of awards, starting with the Audience Award handed to Calle Malaga by Maryam Touzani (Les Films du Nouveau Monde).
