Synopsis
Victor, a brilliant corporation lawyer, wakes up one morning to find his wife not in bed by his side as usual. He looks in the bathroom and the breakfast room, but to no avail. He opens his wifeUs closet and sees that it is empty. At last he finds a short note on the hall table, RDear, IUve gone off with someone else. I doubt IUll be back. Mum will be by at 9 oUclock to take the kids on their skiing holiday. Will call. SVictor is flabbergasted. His mother-in-law arrives, doesnUt know a thing about it and takes the kids off on holiday. Victor arrives at his office and notices his secretary giving him funny looks. RThereUs some bad news,S she frowns. RI know,S he answers. RYou do?S She is puzzled. RAnyway, thereUs a letter on your desk.S RLetter? What letter ?S RI thoughtI YouUve been fired.S One of those days. Victor loses both his wife and his job, and it hurts. The real problem is that he doesnUt know just how bad things are...
