Synopsis
In the spa town of La Bourboule, a man is found dead from poisoning... His ex-partner, Irène, the chief physician at the spa, has a large supply of medical-grade arsenic that could be the murder weapon. She is accused of the murder and taken into custody. Called in to help, her daughter Fanny—a young captain with the Paris Homicide Division whom she hasn’t seen in years—will try to clear her mother’s name and uncover the truth. Amid a will, romantic affairs, business interests, and revenge, Fanny’s investigation will take her much further than she ever imagined, plunging her into her own family secrets.
