Synopsis
A brilliant but alcoholic maternity ward director, who is in denial, sees her life fall apart the day she causes a drunk-driving accident that forces her to walk through the doors of Alcoholics Anonymous. There, she meets a former hairdresser devastated by the loss of her son and a confident young surfer who is convinced he has alcohol under control, even as he is heading for ruin. “Cheers!” tells the story of how the values of solidarity and sharing can help people overcome addiction and reconnect with life.
