Synopsis

On December 7, 1941, an air and sea offensive struck the American base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. From their aircraft carriers, Japanese forces deployed 350 aircraft which, in two successive waves, devastated the Pacific fleet. The explosion of the USS Arizona claimed the lives of more than a thousand sailors. This unprecedented military operation prompted the United States to enter World War II.
