Synopsis
What if one of the alternatives to psychotropics and other anxiolytics was at the tip of our fingers, with our hands in the soil, our nose in a bouquet of flowers, and our teeth biting into a freshly picked radish? What are the true physiological and psychological benefits of contact with a natural environment on our health?
Mother nature against anxiolytics explores the experiences of users and caregivers involved in three field trials in the Grand-Est region (a therapeutic garden in a hospital retirement home, a reintegration program through horticulture, an outdoor school in the educational system) and demonstrates how this "free care for all," a real public health issue, is a crucial key to building more peaceful and cooperative societies.
