Synopsis
Cut off from their families, young people coming from different regions of Madagascar work in a car wash, in Tamatave. Without an identity card, they are exploited by a boss who imposes his presence by a surveillance camera. Also night guards of the car wash, they face violence and are regularly suspected of theft by neighbors. The director, who was born and raised in the neighborhood, takes another look at these young people and offers a polyphonic story in which the violence far exceeds the thefts of which these young people are accused.

Tender Age, by Julien Gaspar-Oliveri
Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
