Synopsis
This film reconstructs and creates the archives and the tale of an imaginary 1920s archeological expedition, that of Theodore Kracklite, who discovers the bones of Elephas Falconeri in an underwater cave in Sicily. A species of dwarf elephant - a real creature, as it so happens - whose fossilized skulls strangely recall those of the legendary Cyclops.
