Synopsis
On the island of Nioumoune in Senegal, Boniface, a young priest who is plagued by his desires, flees his parish. Aboard his boat, he crosses an unsettling maze of mangroves. In search of freedom, he undertakes a journey that will lead him to confront his past, his hidden desires, and the vastness of the Mauritanian desert.
