Synopsis
A chronicle of resourcefulness, a survival manual for living in an HIPC (Heavily Indebted Poor Country), Eugène Gabana Le Pétrolier tells the story of a generation of poverty-stricken young people living in Ouagadougou through the daily life of Eugène, a small-scale businessman who endeavors to build a life for himself through mischievousness and clever improvisation.
