Synopsis
At the top of his career, Jean Epstein (1897 - 1953) breaks with the cinematographic industry and decides to follow a personal and innovative way, digging his own groove in the film art. Brittany and its islands receive this research. Through rare archives, the movie draws the portrait of a forgotten genius who tried to understand the fathomless, with for muse the sea, and his career for guide.
