About
Worried about international terrorism, the Japanese minister of defense goes to France to study the government’s anti-terrorist methods. The two heroes of “Taxi,” Daniel and Emilien, find themselves unwillingly drawn into a farfetched, fast-paced adventure when the minister is kidnapped by a Yakusa gang.
The director may be new, but the Taxi spirit lives on in a modicum of action and suspense but plenty of humor and fantasy.
Claudia Barrett, “Télé Loisirs,” April 8, 2000
