Unifrance plays a key role in the Stockholm International Film Festival’s French Touch Selection

Based on an idea initiated by the French Embassy in Sweden, and organized in close collaboration with Unifrance, the 17th Stockholm International Film Festival is, for the third time, offering double visibility to French productions and co-productions screened both in the major festival sections and in a special section dubbed the French Touch Selection.

The 2006 festival opened with a screening of Indigènes (“Days of Glory"), in the presence of the film’s producer, Jean Bréhat. The French delegation also includes Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk’s Electroma), Brice Cauvin ("Hotel Habarati"), Jean-Paul Hattu (7 Years), and Christian Volckman (Renaissance), all of whom will meet with media representatives and Swedish audiences from November 17 through 26.

The 2006 French Touch Selection features 22 French productions and co-productions, including 3 titles presented in preview screenings.
