Unifrance, with the support of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, unveils the seven selected works for the 2025–2026 edition of the brand-new Tomorrow in Sight label. This program aims to highlight internationally the vitality of young French cinema and audiovisual creation that craft new narratives reflecting the transformations reshaping the models of our contemporary societies.
A label to envision tomorrow’s world through images
Launched in 2025, Tomorrow in Sight aims to promote recent French works, across all formats and genres (feature films, short films, series or TV movie, documentary or animation), created by young artists who share with audiences their vision of our collective future through societal, social, environmental, political, or artistic lenses.
Each year, seven works (3 feature films, 2 series or TV movies, and 2 short films) are selected for the singularity of their perspective and the strength of their artistic vision. The label seeks to support the international circulation of these creations, enhance their visibility at festivals and markets, and assist emerging filmmakers in the next steps of their careers.
A first edition highlighting new societal narratives
For this first edition, Tomorrow in Sight celebrates works that explore the profound transformations of our shared social fabric through stories questioning gender relations and stereotypes, LGBTQIA+ issues, and new gender dynamics.
These works reflect the richness and diversity of a generation of artists who interrogate contemporary society and contribute to redefining the contours of a more inclusive world.
