Biography
A journalist and film director of Ukranian origin, Anastasia Mikova began her career in print journalism before turning to television, where she became an investigation journalist and directed numerous documentary films. In 2009, she became editor-in-chief of the television programme Vu du ciel, presented by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. With him, she co-wrote the documentary project Human (2015) and co-directed the film Woman (2019). Her documentary Such a Resounding Silence, co-directed with French actress Emmanuelle Béart, which tackles the difficult subject of incest, sparked a major public and political debate after its broadcast in 2023.
