Biography
Zoulikha Tahar is an Algerian poet and filmmaker based in Paris. She has performed on numerous stages and in 2017 published Presque deux, a collection of poetry interweaving Algerian dialect, French and classical Arabic. Her texts explore the complexity of family ties and attachment to one's homeland, recurring themes in her films and in El'sardines (2024), her first series, broadcast on ARTE and awarded a Special Mention by the Jury at Séries Mania 2025. Zoulikha Tahar is a member of the Rawiyat-SIF collective and a Berlinale Talents alumna.
