Two Major Additions will Make This Year's Festival the Best Yet
- The series Samuel is coming to MyMetaStories
For the first time, a TV programme will be broadcasted in Minecraft® thanks to the festival ! Samuel (created by Émilie Tronche, produced by Les Valseurs, and co-produced by ARTE France, Pictanovo, Pikkukala, RTVE, 3Cat and Solent Production) offers a unique experience for the 2025 edition: the first four episodes will be screened in a special Minecraft® movie theatre inspired by the series.
An exclusive mini-game on the episode « The Swimming Pool » awaits you, and you might even run into Samuel himself as a NPC in the game. Limited-edition Samuel-themed pixel art goodies (stickers, notebooks, ball caps) will also be released during the festival – must-haves for fans!
- The trailer of Sylvain Chomet's latest feature film (the director behind The Triplets of Belleville), A Magnificent Life, will be screened in Minecraft®.
What’s more – and this is another first – MyMetaStories is teaming up with A Magnificent Life for a special operation to celebrate the French theatrical release of the film on October 15. By screening the official trailer during the festival, Minecraft® will become a platform for promoting cinema! Gamers will also be able to try out a special mini-game based on the movie and check out a fantastic movie poster remastered in pixel art on display all over MyMetaStories World. Don’t miss this unique event that blurs the lines between cinema and gaming!
