The 16th edition of the French Film Festival in Poland (Przegląd Nowego Kina Francuskiego) ran from June 4 to 11 at Warsaw's Kino Muranów cinema, then until July 2 in a dozen cities in Poland (Białystok, Krakow, Katowice, Łódź, Lublin, Poznań, Rzeszów, Szczecin, Toruń, Wrocław, Zamość, and Gdańsk). For the second year running, Unifrance was co-organizing the festival, along with the Institut Français and Kino Muranów.
The 2nd professional meetings took place on June 5, in the presence of numerous French and Polish film and audiovisual professionals.
After The Animal Kingdom in 2024, The Marching Band opened the festival this year, on June 4 at Kino Muranow. Director Lionel Baier presented his feature The Safe House on June 5, while actor Félix Kysyl traveled to the event to meet with the audience after the screening of Misericordia on June 6.

Professional meetings
In parallel with the festival, and for the second year running, Unifrance and the Institut Français have organized a day of professional meetings on June 5, attended by French producers and exporters and Polish producers, distributors, and broadcasters.
On the morning of the 5th, everyone met at the Ambassade de France for a morning of discussions on a number of themes relating to Polish cinema and the audiovisual sector:
- Overview of the Polish film and audiovisual market and platforms
- Comparison of recent experiences in distributing French films in Poland
- Case studies of recent film and audiovisual co-production.
