The Palme d'Or, Best Actress Award, Jury Prize... French films, including minority productions, are represented at all levels at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. Unifrance wishes to congratulate, in particular, Claire Denis, who shared the Cannes Grand Prize (with another French coproduction!) with Stars at Noon, only a few months after being honored with the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for Both Sides of the Blade. A superb double win that cements the reputation of the filmmaker as one of the most highly respected figures in the contemporary global movie scene.
