Step inside the corridors of power in Cairo with Tarik Saleh’s new political thriller, Eagles of the Republic 🦅

In this interview, Tarik Saleh explains how he uses genre cinema to explore propaganda, desire, and fear. He also talks about working once again with Fares Fares, who plays Egypt’s most beloved actor, suddenly drawn into the inner circle of the regime and into a dangerous affair with a general’s wife.

After its world premiere in Competition at Cannes, Eagles of the Republic is now out in theatres in Sweden and Norway.
