New online edition for the 3rd Mercado del Cine Francés y Europeo
On the occasion of the third edition of the Mercado del Cine Francés y Europeo, a collaborative event organized by Unifrance, EFP - European Film Promotion and the Miami Film Festival, 31 Latin American buyers will take the time to get acquainted with the latest releases from French and European sellers.
The market will take place on line March 2 and 3, 2022, just before the beginning of the Miami Film Festival (March 4-13) and will bring together the most active buyers of the Latin American continent as well as 20 French and European sales agents.
Among the French films showcased during the Mercado, we can mention: Not My Type by Michel Leclerc (Pyramide International), The Passengers of the Night by Mikhaël Hers (mk2 films), The Road Ahead by Nessim Chikhaoui (Wild Bunch International), Bowling Saturne by Patricia Mazuy (Totem Films), A Taste of Whale by Vincent Kelner (Films Boutique), Dragon Princess by Anthony 'Tot' Roux and Jean-Jacques Denis (Pulsar Content), Syndicaliste by Jean-Paul Salomé (Le Bureau Films), Umami by Slony Sow (MPM Premium), Kompromat by Jérôme Salle (SND Groupe M6), Between Us by Jude Bauman (Wide), and Year of the Shark by Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma (WTFilms).
The Mercado's intimate format helps strengthen existing relationships and create new ones among participants. This year's market will be held online for the second time, with the prospect of a physical return to Miami in 2023.
