The 20th edition of COLCOA, the prestigious festival held annually in Los Angeles dedicated exclusively to French cinema, was held from April 18 through 26, 2016, with fourteen French artists in attendance.
25,000 spectators came out to see this year's presentation of 40 French features and 21 shorts at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Hollywood, with the the majority of films presented in preview screenings. The event's top prize, the Audience Award, went to Anne Fontaine's film Agnus Dei / The Innocents (The Innocents).
The French delegation included fourteen French actors and directors who made the trip to Los Angeles to meet with American audiences:
