One of our missions at UniFrance Films is to raise foreign industry professionals' awareness of undistributed French films, notably via this conference of American exhibitors specializing in art house films.
For the second time, UniFrance Films will take part in the Art House Convergence, which will be held January 19 through 22, 2015, as a sidebar event at the Sundance International Film Festival just a few miles from the festival based in Utah. This annual conference brings together around 400 American exhibitors specializing in art house films. At this event, UniFrance Films will pursue its mission to promote films to be released in the USA in 2015. Our objective is to raise exhibitors' awareness of new films and inform them of upcoming productions. In a parallel event, a program entitled Young French Cinema will present 11 films that have not yet secured a distributor in the USA, with screenings held at art house theaters, universities, and alternative venues.
The following films will be presented:
Age of Panic by Justine Triet
Apaches by Thierry de Peretti
Domestic Life by Isabelle Czajka
Grand Central by Rebecca Zlotowski
Grandes Ondes (A l'ouest) by Lionel Baier
Macaroni and Cheese by Sophie Letourneur
Miss and the Doctors by Axelle Ropert
The Rendez-Vous of Deja vu by Antonin Peretjatko
School Of Babel by Julie Bertuccelli
Moutan by Gilles Deroo & Marianne Pistone
