Synopsis
A treasure trove of 4,000 photographic plates dating from WWI was found in the attic of an abandoned farmhouse in a village in the Somme, a famous battlefield. Antoinette and Louis, a farming couple located behind the British front line, improvised as photographers, offering soldiers the chance to have their portraits taken – portraits that might become their last.
Without ever realising it, Antoinette turned out to be an exceptional artist. Through her unique collection, an entire lost world resurfaces.
