Synopsis
With a passion for adventure, writer Sylvain Tesson accompanies an expedition by the High Mountain Military Group (GMHM) to Patagonia. United by a shared love of the great outdoors, they pay tribute to the heroes of the Aéropostale, Mermoz, Saint Exupéry and Guillaumet, by climbing the peaks that bear their names in the Fitz Roy massif. The goal of this expedition: to jump from one of the peaks according to the principles of base jumping. In this region known for its extreme weather conditions, will the wind offer a respite? Will the paralpinists succeed in their first attempt? Sylvain Tesson recounts this spectacular adventure, experienced up close and personal, right up to its unlikely dénouement.
