Synopsis
Dennis has spent his life with polar bears. He is the best guide in Hudson Bay. Today, he is setting off on one last expedition. The old man wants to find out how his favourite animal is coping with global warming. In the far north of Canada, winter is losing ground every year. The sea ice is melting earlier and earlier, shortening the bears' hunting season. How is the largest predator on earth adapting? For a year, Dennis will follow in the footsteps of this unique species. He will observe births and the incredible devotion of mothers to their cubs. He will witness the fights between large males and their feast of seals in the spring. He will also discover how bears survive the hellish summer season. Fortunately, the King of the North is a master of adaptation. At the end of his journey, Dennis, the man who loved bears, will find reasons to hope again.
