Synopsis

An actor, director, and mostly a restless provocateur: Sean Penn is the perfect Hollywood animal. He masters all the rules but never follows them. Two Oscars, one Golden Globe, and one Silver Bear… He was consecrated by his profession although he kept on running against the tide and distorting Hollywood’s greatest myths. In the end, Sean Penn managed to set himself apart by embodying America’s outsiders and protesters.
