Synopsis
Charles Péguy's life and work bear witness to his total commitment to the great battles of his time: he was an enlightened socialist activist, then a journalist and ardent defender of Captain Dreyfus, before asserting himself as a daring and luminous poet, reconciling the spiritual and the quest for the absolute with the reality of our human condition. Charles Péguy, l'artisan du verbe is an encounter with this man of truth and thought, whose cultural heritage, humanist and visionary, has so much to contribute to today's world. His liberating voice has come down to us as one of the most vibrant that literary creation has ever carried.
