Synopsis
Ken Loach is one of the greatest contemporary filmmakers, the author of a humanist body of work celebrated throughout the world and the recipient of numerous awards, including two Palmes d'Or. For almost thirty years, he has formed one of the most esteemed creative tandems in the history of cinema with screenwriter Paul Laverty – the sole author of sixteen of his major films and winner of the Award for Best Screenplay at Cannes and Venice. Narrated by the filmmaker himself and his comrade in arms, this resolutely punk documentary tells how and why they started using cinema as a tool in their political activism, hoping to awaken their audience’s conscience, for the advent of a more just society...
