Summer Fasting
Synopsis
In the projects scorching beneath the summer sun, eleven-year-old Kader tries to observe Ramadan for the first time. He is accompanied, despite Kader's reluctance, by his best friend Rudy, who isn't Muslim and who considers this tradition a new game. To survive this day, the two children must elude hunger, thirst, and boredom.
