A Tiny Country

A Tiny Country

A Short film by Pauline Laplace

Produced by Don Quichotte Films, L'Argent

Production year : 2019

Synopsis

Patricio Salcedo, an anarchist newsstand operator in the Crimée neighborhood in Paris, proudly displays black flags, radical newspapers, and slogans. Each day, written press, clients, and regular customers, come and bring chaotic fragments of the outside world. The newsstand is an oasis pushed by the past and dragged toward the future, cradled by dreams and illusions. Let's live in this tiny country.
