Synopsis
With globalization that standardizes, tourism that Disneyfies, French and Spanish states that oppress, what is left of Basque culture? During a summer, four young people travel through the land to meet those who resist and express themselves through their art. Between a search for one's roots and a spiritual journey, these teenagers discover the force of the oldest language in western Europe, a special affirmation of a territory and a history.
The first documentary by Eugène Green, beautifully shot by his longtime cameraman, Raphael O’Byrne.
