The twilight of the Medieval period is haunted by terrors and superstitions. To heal this world deformed by suffering and fever, Hieronymous Bosch unfurls spectacular pictorial magic in The Temptation of Saint Anthony (1501). With his paintbrush, he tries to subdue his evil demons.
