At Joséphine Baker Collège in Saint-Ouen in Seine-Saint-Denis, a suburban area on the outskirts of Paris, Alice and Isabelle teach the same class, which agitated, shy, joyful, unruly and lively in turn. Alice teaches French, while Isabelle teaches art.
