The Wedding Director
Synopsis
Franco, a film director, buckles down to the delicate screen adaptation of one Italian literature’s masterpieces, I Promessi Sposi by Alessandro Manzoni. The filmmaker is also facing crises elsewhere in his life, for his daughter has decided to marry a devout Catholic. He therefore decides to leave for Sicily, where he hopes to find inspiration.
