Laurence, 20, is ready to fall in love at the drop of a hat. Unfortunately, her eagerness scares off any potential lovers and she always winds up being cheated on or dumped!
When her mother dies, Laurence gets the crazy idea of finding Renée, her grandmother, who she hasn’t seen since her childhood. Renée is far from keen about seeing her granddaughter, whose naïve outlook the old lady finds deeply annoying. In an effort to prove to her that true love doesn’t exist and that she’ll always be taken for a ride by men, Renée offers her granddaughter a few lessons in the art of living.
This art is based on some basic rules: seduce a rich man, marry him as soon as possible, get rid of him even more quickly in a discreet but definitive way, pocket his life insurance and spend up large… before starting all over again.
Laurence follows her strange grandmother’s advice. But playing such games involves a certain amount of risk – for this infernal duo and the men who fall into their clutches…
