Synopsis
Former star of comic cinema, Romain-Romain has hit rock bottom. Having floated through life on a magic carpet, today he finds himself treading the boards of an unknown suburban theatre. 48 hours before the dress rehearsal, his last chance to relaunch his career, his life comes crashing in around him like so many unpaid bills. His friends, his loves, his family, his headaches, everything concertinas. On his disordered chess board, his bishop has to leap like a knight to reconquer his queen. Happily, though, the key pieces occasionally change hands. And when like Romain, you're speeding head-on into a brick wall, you need more than one foot to step on the brakes!
