Synopsis
Amir Kobessov, a young filmmaker, receives a telegram informing him that his mother is ill. He leaves his wife and son to return to his village.
The journey he sets out on follows both a geographical and interior map. A crazy mental chase set against a backdrop of steppes and mountains, it eventually leads him to his native land.
