Synopsis
Rock star Gloria Soleil returns to Paris after two years' leave of absence to resume her career. Her record label manager has differ-ent ideas and ditches her. She lands up with Norbert Rubino, a second-rate producer. Bénédicte and Brice d'Hachicourt and their daughter, Clémence, lead a dull, dry, genteel life in Jouy-en-Josas with their friends the Jutards and Gervais, the local priest. Like all teenagers, Clémence is wild about music. She enters a contest on a local radio station and wins. The prize is a day on the set of a music video shoot featuring her favourite singer, Gloria Soleil! She talks her mother into taking her there without her father's knowledge. When Bénédicte and Clémence appear in Gloria's video, all hell is let loose in the uptight social world of the d'Hachicourts.

About
After "La Vengeance d'une blonde", Michel Delgado and I wanted to write together again.
After working with Clémentine in "La Vengeance..." and then on stage in "The Odd
Couple", we felt like writing a comedy for two women. There are very few female tandems on film and I felt that Clémentine and I worked well
together. We're both so different and contrasting,
therefore perfectly matched. Yin and yang , you
could say! Michel and I also wanted to deal with
the dreams you have as a child... Children very
rarely say, "When I grow up, I want to be an office
clerk." Some jobs are more fascinating than
others. We wanted to tackle that theme in a
comic manner and to see how two women, no
longer teenagers, can succeed in doing what deep
down they have always wanted to do.
