Martin Bourboulon on '13 Days, 13 Nights - In the Hell of Kabul'

Director Martin Bourboulon dives into the making of 13 Days, 13 Nights, a tense, real-life inspired thriller following the evacuation of the French Embassy in Kabul in August 2021.

From the challenge of bringing recent history to the screen to capturing the urgency, chaos, and humanity behind those thirteen days, Martin reflects on the film’s emotional and cinematic journey.

Presented last year at the Out of Competition section in Cannes Film Festival, the film now opens in theatres across Portugal on May 15.
