Biography

Versatile artist – author, actor, director, Bernard Campan starts his career in Le Petit theatre de Bouvard (TV show promoting young talents) where he meets Didier Bourdon and Pascal Légitimus.
The three of them form one of the most famous French comic trio: Les Inconnus (The Unknown).
In 21995, they direct their first Feature The Three Brothers, soon followed with The Bet, L’Extra-terrestre (2000) and The Three Kings (2001).
In 1999, Bernard Campan frees himself from the theatre trio with Augustin, King of Kung-Fu by Anne Fontaine, then in 2000 with Zabou Breitman’s first feature Try to Remember.
In 2003, Bernard Campan stars in Frenchmen by Marc Esposito.
Today opposing Monica Belluci and Gérard Depardieu in How Much Do You Love Me? by Bertrand Blier, he will star in 2006 in Zabou Breitman’s next movie, L’Homme de sa vie.
