Unifrance takes French films around the world - September 2007
In September, Unifrance accompanied 67 actors and directors representing 178 films at 6 international feature film festivals.
Venice International Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, San Sebastian International Film Festival, Copenhagen International Film Festival, Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, and the New York Film Festival.
Unifrance also provided assistance to 5 actors and directors representing 31 films attending 3 short film festivals: Venice International Film Festival, FICFA - Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie (Moncton) (International Francophone Cinema Festival in Acadie), and the Imago de Fundão International Youth Film Festival.
French productions and co-productions picked up a number of awards at the Venice and San Sebastian International Film Festivals:

Supporting the commercial release of films
Unifrance provided support fot the release of 10 films in foreign territories by offering travel grants to 16 actors and directors:

Claude Miller for the release of A Secret in Quebec
Claude Lelouch and Audrey Dana for the release of Crossed Tracks in Quebec
François Ozon for the release of Angel in Italy
Tony Gatlif and Birol Unel for the release of Transylvania in Spain
Patrice Leconte for the release of My Best Friend in Denmark and Sweden
Raphaël Fejto and Romain Duris for the release of L'Âge d'homme… maintenant ou jamais! in Belgium
Bernard Campan for the release of La Face cachée in Switzerland
Jean-Jacques Annaud and José Garcia for the release of His Majesty Minor in Belgium
Faouzi Bensaïdi and Nehza Rahil for the release of What a Wonderful World in Norway
