French films at the Munich Film Festival

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year from June 22 through 30, the Filmfest Muenchen will welcome a sizeable French delegation for the New French Cinema Section.

The following French talent will be in attendance: Jacques Fieschi for La Californie, Jean and Louis Becker for Conversations with My Gardener, Gabriel Le Bomin for Antonin's Stories, René and Marie Ferret for Il a suffit que maman s’en aille, Jérôme Bonnell for Waiting for Someone, Laurent Herbiet for The Colonel, Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Valérie Stroh for Premonition, Nicolas Philibert for Retour en Normandie, and Robin Renucci for Sempre Vivu!

Other French films selected by festival programmer Robert Fischer are: Tell No One by Guillaume Canet, Private Property by Joachim Lafosse, and A Crime by Manuel Pradal.

Germany’s number 2 film festival after the Berlinale, the Filmfest is expected to attract wide support from audiences and industry professionals.
