Awards won by short films abroad: April 2019
Spring would not be spring without... films! 152 French short films were shown to the public and industry professionals in April at 4 film festivals that are partner events with UniFrance, in the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. 10 of these films picked up a total of 13 awards between them. Dresden International Short Film Festival (April 9–14), Germany
- Award for Best Animation: Egg by Martina Scarpelli
Brussels Short Film Festival (April 25–May 5), Belgium
- Grand Prize in the International Competition: Excess Will Save Us by Morgane Dziurla-Petit
- Best Actress: Héloïse Volle for Matriochkas
- La Trois Prize: Matriochkas by Bérangère McNeese
- International Competition, Audience Prize: Roberto the Canary by Nathalie Saugeon
- Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles Prize: Matriochkas by Bérangère McNeese
- Critics' Prize: Castle to Castle by Emmanuel Marre
- Mention from the International Competition Jury: Jeanne by Marie Carpentier and Éléonore Gurrey
