It should be noted that alongside the festival, UniFrance Films also organizes a film market between French sales agents and Japanese and Asian distributors. From Wednesday June 25 through Saturday June 28, all the French exporters, numbering 25, will be present in Tokyo. Gaumont, Pathé, StudioCanal, EuropaCorp, Wild Bunch, Pyramide, Rezo, Le Pacte, along with other companies, will have had the opportunity to screen their films to Japanese buyers, with whom they'll then meet again during the four-day market. Apart from the more than 50 Japanese distribution companies, distributors from the whole Southeast Asia zone (Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailande, Vietnam, etc.) are invited to participate this year in a market that will allow exporters to reinforce their business relations in a context entirely dedicated to French cinema.
