Synopsis
In 1811, Mary Anning, a curious and strong-willed 12-year-old girl, spends her days exploring the seaside in search of fossils—those strange stones from another time. Her father passed this passion on to her. But everything changes when he disappears, leaving behind a mysterious drawing… and a family in dire straits. Determined to help her mother and brother overcome this ordeal, Mary also sets out to uncover the secret of the drawing. Along the way, she discovers much more than fossils: unexpected friendships, unforgettable adventures, and the first chapters in the history of paleontology. With courage and determination, Mary will change her life… and perhaps even the world of science!
