Synopsis
For the entire world, Christopher Reeve and Superman are one and the same. Over forty years after the release of Richard Donner’s international blockbuster, Christopher Reeve remains the absolute reference as regards the role of the superhero from Krypton.
How did the American actor manage to merge so marvellously with his character? Why has no attempt, however praiseworthy, managed to make us forget Superman of 1978?
A previously unpublished interview that we carried out just before the actor’s premature demise will allow the film to highlight the links between these two heroes and chart their evolution during the course of their 9 years of life together and beyond, up to the moment when the actor himself became a superhero.
